Mission and vision

Our Mission Statement

1. We believe wholeheartedly in the Good News of Jesus Christ which is revealed in the Scriptures and set forth in the Catholic Creeds;
2. We belong to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church under the leadership of our Bishop;
3. We celebrate joyfully the Mass and other sacraments and liturgies of the Church by which we share in the Mystery of Jesus’ dying and rising;
4. We actively encourage our parish members to share in the mission of Christ the Redeemer, in all that they say and do, to those they live and work amongst, for the sake of the Kingdom;
5. We share generously from what we have in order to be of greater service to the Church and the world.

The Parish is Anglo-Catholic. Until 12 March 2024 it had a Resolution under the House of Bishops Declaration on the ministry of Priests and Bishops and came under the Episcopal care of the Bishop of Oswestry: Commissary for the Archbishop of Canterbury. It now comes under the Episcopal care of the Bishop of Oxford. The Parish maintains the traditional beliefs of the church about the Faith and Order of The Church, its Bishops, Priests and Deacons, the Seven Sacraments and the permanence of Christian Marriage.
